COST: $60 / person

Your ticket includes access to the full day event plus a beautiful lunch, snacks & refreshments throughout the day.

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Nicolas Oreskovic

Dr. Oreskovic is an internist and pediatrician, and clinical researcher. He is the Medical Director for the Integrated Care Management Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. He sees patients at Massachusetts General Hospital both in primary care and in the Down Syndrome Program. His research interests include physical activity and other health behaviors, chronic disease prevention and management, Down syndrome, health care delivery, and understanding how the built environment, including architecture and urban planning, can affect individual and population health. He has received federal and foundation funding for his research, and has authored over sixty peer reviewed scientific publications. Dr. Oreskovic received his bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, attended medical school at The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York, trained in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, completed a fellowship in Health Services Research at Harvard Medical School, and earned a Masters in Public Health from the HarvardSchool of Public Health.

Moderated by DSBC President Tamara Taggart, the SUMMIT will feature panel discussions and ample opportunity for questions and answers.

The SUMMIT will provide a very special opportunity to connect with fellow Members, families, caregivers and professionals from across the Province.

We will end the day with a social hour including non-alcoholic refreshments, the chance to keep shopping our Mini Market, and an opportunity to gather, exchange stories and build lasting relationships.
