Paul Crowley.
Director.

Paul is a Professional Engineer and Chartered Program Manager supporting defence related projects. He and his spouse, Salome, live in Victoria and have raised three children. Their youngest, Sean, is twenty-one, has Mosaic Down syndrome and is hard at work charting out his path as an adult with a developmental disability.

Paul has been an active leader and volunteer in the Down syndrome community, both locally and at the national level, serving on the board of the Canadian Down Syndrome Society since 2019 and serving as President of the Greater Victoria Down Syndrome Society since 2016.

Having seen both locally and across Canada the lack of adequate support networks for the developmental disability community, Paul hopes to advance opportunities for adults with Down syndrome to reach their full potential and also ensure that families, especially aging caregivers, have appropriate supports in place to help their children with Down syndrome continue to grow and thrive beyond the school aged years.
